Privacy Policy
Last updated September 23, 2026
Your privacy is very important to us. This policy explains what information our web site and our mobile applications collect, why, who receives it, and what stays on your device. It applies to every app published by Platinum City LLC on the App Store and Google Play.
Our principles
- Before or at the time of collecting personal information, we will identify the purposes for which information is being collected.
- We will collect and use personal information solely with the objective of fulfilling those purposes specified by us and for other compatible purposes, unless we obtain the consent of the individual concerned or as required by law.
- We will only retain personal information as long as necessary for the fulfillment of those purposes.
- We will collect personal information by lawful and fair means and, where appropriate, with the knowledge or consent of the individual concerned.
- Personal data should be relevant to the purposes for which it is to be used, and, to the extent necessary for those purposes, should be accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
- We will protect personal information by reasonable security safeguards against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
- We will make readily available to customers information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information.
What stays on your device
Our apps do not require an account, and they do not ask for your name, email address or contact details.
The videos, photos, music and voice recordings you work with are processed on your device. They are stored in the app's own storage and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Apps that record a voiceover ask for microphone access the first time you record; the recording is kept on your device and used only for the video you are making. Apps that import from your photo library use the system photo picker, so they can only see the items you choose.
Sharing a finished video is something you do yourself, through your phone's sharing options, with an app or service of your choice. That service's privacy policy applies to what you send it.
What our apps collect, and why
Usage and crash reports (Google Firebase)
Our apps use Google Firebase to understand how they are used and to find and fix problems:
- Firebase Analytics records which features are used — for example that a video was added, a recording made or a video exported — together with the device model, operating system version, language, the country your connection appears to come from, and identifiers for the app installation and, where your device settings allow it, the device's advertising identifier. It does not record the content of your videos or recordings.
- Firebase Crashlytics sends a report when an app crashes, describing the state of the app and device at that moment, so that we can fix the cause.
- Firebase Remote Config lets us adjust settings in the app without releasing a new version; it sends an installation identifier to fetch them.
Google processes this information on our behalf. Google's own practices are described in Google's privacy policy and in Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Advertising measurement (TikTok)
We advertise some of our apps on TikTok. Those apps include TikTok's Business SDK so that, if you installed an app after seeing one of our ads, TikTok can tell us that the ad worked. It receives that the app was installed and opened, along with device information and, where your device settings allow it, the device's advertising identifier. We do not show advertisements inside our apps. TikTok's practices are described in TikTok's privacy policy.
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play, which process your payment; we never receive your payment details. The app keeps a record of what you have purchased so that it can unlock it. On iPhone and iPad, the purchase screens in some of our apps are provided by Superwall, which receives information about the app being opened and about which purchase screens were shown and bought from, in order to display and measure them.
This web site
This web site sets no cookies and uses no analytics. To show our apps, your browser fetches their listings and artwork directly from Apple's servers, which see your IP address as with any web request, and keeps a copy in your browser's storage for a short while so the page loads quickly next time.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
- You can stop apps from using your device's advertising identifier in your device settings: on iOS, under Privacy & Security → Tracking; on Android, under Privacy → Ads, where you can also delete the identifier.
- Deleting an app deletes everything it stored on your device.
- To ask what information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email support@platinumcityapps.com. Usage and crash data is not linked to your name or contact details, so we may need some information from you to find it.
Security and retention
Information our apps send is encrypted in transit. We keep it only as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and the services named here keep it according to their own retention periods.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page. Questions are welcome at support@platinumcityapps.com.
We are committed to conducting our business in accordance with these principles in order to ensure that the confidentiality of personal information is protected and maintained.
